I still feel the warmth of her hands;

She took me from my parents’ hands.

To lead me to the world of letters,

And to fill my life with colours.


She was not just bundle of knowledge,

But seemed to have taken a pledge,

To brighten the life of every little one,

Away from home to reach another one.


Every kid wanted to be with her,

As she treated all as hers.

Now we never missed our home,

Rather, we cried while going home.


Years passed by, everything changed

But she was the one who never did.

Rather her passion grew with her,

And every student adored her.


She felt the pride when we went,

And shared with her, every achievement.

She is the one who inspired us,

And was a second mother to us.


She sowed the seeds of wisdom in us,

Which helped us to search within us

The good humans that we are,

And that has made us what we are.

Mrs Seema was her name 

Who never craved for fame.

She just kindled in us the flame 

And marked in our hearts, her name.


We were twenty tiny tots,

Now have grown up lots.

We still love to be with her 

But alas! We lost her.


She was such a lovely teacher

I pay this tribute to her.

You live in our hearts forever,
